Who knows??? A young lady in a wool overcoat appears to be running next to and on the far side of a light blue or maybe light green car. The car looks to be a late 1970s/early 1980s model, but I am no expert. Behind and partially cropped out of the frame is a highway direction sign reading, WE 10 RAYNHA TAUNTO. I am interpreting that as West 104 Raynham Taunton, which would all be in Massachusetts.

This is how we ended up in Cattail Spring, about 140 miles northwest of Phoenix, the last few of which were traveled over a dirt track rendered nearly impassable by washouts during the rainy season.

In the foreground are brown grasses and scrubby bushes, with spotty snow in places on the ground. Written on the back of this photo is "Wellington Road." A Google search to try to determine the location revealed that just about every English-speaking location in the world has a road named Wellington Road. My best guess for this is that it is in northern Colorado. There is a Wellington Road there that would have been between where my mother once lived, in northern Colorado, and where her younger sister once lived, in southern Wyoming.
