#FirstSummer, starring veteran actress #HeoJin, is actually Huh’s graduation film from the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) and the director described it as a tribute to her mother.

Multiplex chain Megabox will exclusively screen #FirstSummer, the Korean short film that won top prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival's La Cinef competition, starting Aug. 6.

The 31-minute short directed by #HeoGayoung will screen across around 50 Megabox South Korean theaters nationwide.

Well, all the translated chapters of #FirstSummer have been read, so we're moving from Korea to China.... Funny enough, the title is also fitting: "Enjoy Winter in the Middle of Summer."

#FirstSummer gives me mixed feelings. Mostly it's a sweet and funny romantic story about a middle-aged salaryman and his young guitar mentor. But sometimes, it's almost the epitome of that meme. And like in #HeatedRivalry the romance is intertwined with a ton of explicit sex scenes.
