People worried about buildings being torn down one block from the subway vs the buildings
post from FB: "The corner where Walgreens, Rainbow & the take out fishspot is all one building and now that Rainbow & the takeout spot are closed I have a feeling a developer is going to end up coming in and putting in an apartment building there with maybe Walgreens as the flagship store or just get rid of Walgreens all together. Could I be paranoid because I love this area? Probably. But I wouldn’t be surprised given the pattern I watched happen when I was in Crown Heights & Prospect Heights? No. The proximity to the park & the train without a ton of new buildings is that have gone up lately screams to me that this is the next spot to be gobbled up.
