Really hope I can make time for personal art again soon ☹️

Here’s a fave from back in 2022 that I’ve just been tweaking.
I love drawing fish 🐟

Good morning #bluesky Today's #FebruArty word "school" is brought to you by #FishyFeb and the nearest thing I have to post is this seascape from the east coast of Scotland, there's bound to be a school of fish in that water! #ArtYear #ocean #bassrock #Art #painting
Very blue seascape. Blue sky and blue waves hitting a small sandy shore. There is a huge rock Island on the horizon line and you can make out a lighthouse on it.

I must admit this is one I've been looking forward to for a while. To be honest, I don't think I've ever painted fish, and the #lion fish is a challenge. Hopefully, I'll have something of my own for you today. Alright, enough of me over here in #FebruARTy, I'll see you all in the #FishyFeb Feed 💙
Image 1 (#FishyFeb Prompt List for February 2025) A digital graphic for the #FishyFeb challenge, featuring a fish illustration with a blue water-themed background. All are welcome with art and photography—old or new!" A list of 28 fish-related prompts is displayed, each corresponding to a day in February. Day 7’s prompt is "Lion." Participants are encouraged to create artwork inspired by a lionfish or interpret "Lion" creatively within a fishy theme. At the bottom, the graphic credits @victoriapfeiffer.bsky.social as the host. Additionally, for FebruArty participants, it's important to note: 🖌 On odd-numbered days, participants join a collaborating challenge like #FishyFeb. 🎨 On even-numbered days, they follow FebruArty’s unique prompts. For example, if you paint a morel mushroom using water color you could tag it for mushrooms or morels or watercolor or artyear (no themes) but if you use the fishyfeb tag or FebruARTy tag it won’t make sense because it doesn’t match what those challenges are doing that day. Does that help?

Anyway I can’t wait to see what you have for day 29 and #curve. Happy Hump Day!

#FebruARTy last year I was doing research in Manhattan museums, because I am intrigued with the mysterious iconography of the Nasca culture in ancient Peru. 1,200 years have elapsed since the last Nascan passed away, so the true meaning is lost, but this iconic Nascan symbol is definitely #FishyFeb

A 6 inch benevolent face with a rendering of a chum salmon on the mouth and the sky visible through the surface of the water above on the forehead.
