Apparently, somebody at @ifixit.com liked my videos enough for them to send me their new FixHub portable soldering station for free. It’s "a bit" faster and more powerful than my aging Weller soldering station from some decades ago. The battery pack is optional, the little iron also works USB-C.

Big thanks to @ifixit.com for sending me one of their FixHub 100W Portable Soldering Stations to check out ... only had a little play so far, and super impressed with how fast it get's to temp (350°C), in just 5 seconds!!!

Really impressed by the @ifixit.com with the FixHub | Power Series Portable Soldering Station. Over 500 solder joints and only used 50%. No issues with iron being to cold and already to solder with little or no delay in heating up.
