Another angle to my “all the world’s a stage and all the agents merely players” theory of LLM behaviour is the role of compaction. Compaction hands a fresh newborn agent a biography and says “here’s your life story up to this point, continue”. This introduces a new POV: a narrator.

One of the biggest quality plunges in comedy but honestly six excellent seasons is a lot. Even in S6 where there’s already some Flanderization going on they’re knocking out bangers like Scott’s Tota
I think the reason I end up hating THE OFFICE is that it does have these moments of intense and bitting satire and then it ditches all of that in favor of a false and sacrine ending for most of the cast. I mean Jesus fuck this bit referenced is just so fucking biting.
very bizarrely, one of the few things I've seen that captures the rhetorical effectiveness of historical fascism is the bit in the Office where Jim gives Dwight one of Mussolini's speeches to deliver to a paper conference and it absolutely kills.
