I just finished putting together my awesome box ! It collect dust when using my flexshaft.

This little plastic thing I’m fiddling with tonight is suppose to go inside a mounted vise.

I’m trying to make it hold my handpiece inside my particulate catcher so I can use both my hands. Gotta jimmy it up a bit more so it’s locked down & cant change position. My wrists are hopeful 🤞& excited 😅.

Different attachments for the flexshaft that they have in the studio. There are tiny burs used for clean up after casting/soldering that would be small enough to get in there.

The body of the bench tool,of course, just has a hole (which isn't perfectly lined up with the drive shaft).
My initial plan was to use the keyed chuck on the other side to clamp the inner rod of the flexshaft, but the rod can slide out that way.

The bench tool has some sort of bearing and circlip assembly in the end of the flexshaft, which would be great if the rest of it was well constructed, but it's not.

Well, that was an adventure! (No, I still haven't managed to test the engraving.

The knockoff bench multitool with the table saw and grinding wheel has a very different attachment style to the Dremel flexshaft. The main problem is how each addresses the potential for the cable to fall out:

Unfortunately my Dremel tool burnt out, the housemate with the flexshaft moved out, and the flexshaft that came with my new multipurpose table tool was rubbish, so I must wait a little longer.

I'm not sure if I have an all-time favourite tool, BUT I did recently buy an el-cheapo micro motor and I LOVE it. My expectations were low, but surprisingly I like it so much more than my flexshaft.
