for that shueisha platform i was worried abt ai translations and it was a relief they clarified they haven't used it but i've been randomly checking credits & half the time i saw companies instead of individuals. flitto is advertised as an ai solution while blue horizon doesn't even show up anywhere

For what it's worth, the involvement of Flitto Japan already makes me unwilling to give them any benefit of the doubt. I think it's much more likely that an editor lied to an interviewer than that an LLM training service based in Japan found skilled translators for 30 international languages.
