Big fish don't aways take on big flies, even in winter. This beautiful 2.7kg cock fish was taken on a size 12 Schoemaker's nymph.

I was messing around and came up with this little guy. If this fly is common, what is the name? If not, anyone have funny suggestions?

My partner ties our flies for our adventures, so for the first half of winter he tied a box for our trip to Panamá. My goal for the second half of winter is for me to tie a box for our summer adventures. #flytyingjunkie #winterhobbies

It takes two! I keep one pair specifically for wire so my other pair stays sharp. I've always liked the look and performance of @loonoutdoors. Do you have any tips to keep your tools in tip top shape?
