What the heck ... while I'm here, and thinking about Foleyet ... during a fishing trip with my two remaining brothers and my son, we, and a buddy, went for a walk with Benji on an August 2025 evening in Foleyet, Ontario.

A rare crested caracara, a falcon that behaves like a vulture, was spotted in Foleyet, Ont. A Sudbury ornithologist says winds may have blown it north. It scavenged at the dump and appears to have survived at least one winter.
