My exuberant entry for #FoolishFlowers

#AprilFools #FoolishFlowers Hibiscus schizopetalus, sometime called the Spider Hibiscus, blooming at DBG. 🌿

#AprilFools #FoolishFlowers Pachystachys lutea, the Lollipop or Shrimp plant is definitely feelin' foolish at DBG 🌿 🌱

Is there anything more foolish than Impatiens with their wonky petaloid spurs curling underneath 'em? #AprilFools #FoolishFlowers. Impatiens capensis (orange Jewelweed in Boulder), Impatiens niamniamensis (reddish Parrot flower), purple Impatiens paucidentata & Impatiens grandis blooming at DBG. 🌿 🌱

Because it’s #AprilFools day, I'll be posting flowers from the DBG (Denver Botanic Gardens) Conservatory from various dates since I have no April 1st flower pics. I’ll call them #FoolishFlowers like this Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'The Path' even though this one’s prettier than it is foolish. Enjoy! 😎 🌿

Maybe it’s the maggots talking’ but April spewing flowers is totally enough for me. If rebirth and blooms aren’t enough, what is? We are here now, savor it. #AprilFools #FoolishFlowers
