We're excited about a new undergrad research project analysing 19 year old data from elephants in Thailand. We'd measured 3D ground reaction forces (16 forceplates!) and 3D motion capture of 16 markers around each fore/hind foot. We're using this to test ideas about how foot (pad) stiffness works.
