Politics have no place in the Formula One some say.

Thanks to Politics Jean-Marc Gounon was able to test for Larrousse and eventually sign a test contract (what ever it meant in those days) with the team in 1993! #F1 #RetroF1 #FormulaChristmas

Many know that DAMS made the GD-01 and were to debut in 1994 with the car (in fact also the unraced Renard design) only to postpone their entry to 1996 and abandon it.

However, in 1991/1992 Driot tried to purchase Ligier! #F1 #RetroF1 #FormulaChristmas
