When she turns 18, the fortuneteller tells her the impossible: her soulmate doesn’t exist. Seven years later, at 25, Lexa is still haunted by the idea of being alone. In a moment of desperation, she visits the fortuneteller once more, only to be told that her soulmate does exist. Someone out there is waiting for her. Clarke, Lexa’s colleague and longtime friend, seems to have everything figured out. She’s married to Finn, her soulmate, the man she was matched with at 18. But as Lexa works alongside Clarke on a murder investigation, a growing sense of connection between them begins to stir deep within Lexa. Could Clarke be Lexa’s soulmate? As Lexa and Clarke navigate the complexities of their evolving bond amidst the backdrop of crime and mystery, they are forced to confront their own fears, desires, and the fragile ties that could either bind them together or pull them apart forever.
