Can't remember where I left off...
My first foster cat is a (successful) failure.
I adopted #FosterKittyShona. After a year of caring for her with her extreme allergies...and many infections due to atopic dermatitis....I couldnt let her go.
We have been to a Dermatologist...

Welp, my first foster cat is a (successful) failure. After nearly 1 year, I am adopting her; paperwork is in progress. I just couldn't let her go. She's a special needs girl with allergies,& she will likely require lifelong meds.

#FosterKittyShona wears her cone (folded down) only at night now...as her belly fur grows back in. The overgrooming could've been her known food allergies, stress, or just compulsive itching behavior after spay surgery. We may never know, but she is ON THE MEND. This soft cone has been amazing.
