This is why I enjoy the 12th century so much...it's in that kind of cool place of feeling connected to ancient culture while being a distinct time of transition to various recognizable foundations of the modern world (though def not there yet)

I means there’s clearly a debatable point that a billionaire like Bruce Wayne is part of the problem and his charitable foundations appear to achieve eff all BUT it’s the same level of discussion as “how can an invisible hero see when photons are passing through them?”

I mean I feel a deep sense of unease right now though it isn't really connected to the economy. More like, "Foundations of liberal democracy are crumbling. Halp."

If you saw a barn with dodgy foundations was starting to catch on for fire, and decided to add some extra petrol, I don't think I'd call that "neglect".
They have decided to let one of the UK's few world class industries burn to the ground because: bigots.
