Foxleap, Icecloud and Toadstep dying off-page is just. Baffling. Why would they do that. What reason is there to keep characters like Brackenfur alive. Who is coming up to bat for Brackenfur

applestripe and foxleap go more the inspiration route, naming a son flamekit though he dies early on. they only have one kit survive of four - redfoot. squirrelflight's clone with reversed colours.

also i forgot foxleap and rosepetal are uncle and niece, though close in age. they both end up with siblings (applestripe and stoneleap respectively). very funny to me.

Foxleap dying made me so sad. He's legit one of the best supporting character in the series and had great chemistry with everyone.
