Farming is not for the faint hearted. We have uneven, sloped ground here, too, but we only have 5 unirrigated acres. We only have to mow down the foxtails every late Spring. All our hay is purchased. Our poor hay guy had to worry about having enough water this year, and last crop got rained on.
