Sansevieria francisii in flower! The bloom has been very slow to develop, maybe 7 weeks to this point. But there has been extrafloral nectar present on the flower stalk since it has started to form. Of course I tasted it and it's very sweet!

This is myvery unbalanced #dracaena #francisii plant that has 2 really grown pups. I got this about 6 years ago, trimming it back after it flowered (2nd pic shows cuttings & new babies!).
Trying to figure out how to split the pups into 2 separate plants since it's tipping. Any ideas?

I really want to propagate my dracaena francisii runners but it's October. I'll have to wait til like February.
I did cut a few leaves that were too long a few months ago in the 2nd pic, but no new growth from them yet. They haven't died at least? Very resilient plants.

By the next morning, the blooms that had opened were closing so I'm glad I took these photos. The ones that didn't open yet did so the following night. Took about 4 days for all to bloom, then they dropped.

Back in June, my dracaena francisii (aka sanseviera francisii) bloomed! Apparently, once it blooms, the mama/base plant stops growing so I need to figure out what to do with it.
It was so pretty & smelled lightly sweet+floral! The blooms only lasted about 12 hours (and blooms in the evening).
