It’s five years since my #FredKorematsuDay post below, & the fight for civil liberties in the US is as necessary as ever. Help honor Fred’s legacy this week by joining a local action, donating to organizers, & standing up to tyranny.

Have a reflective #FredKorematsuDay. The photo below is a business meeting at the Amache incarceration camp. The Japanese-Americans contracted caretakers to oversee their farms in the absence. They were some of the few JA who returned to their farms after the war. My grandfather helped lead.

History is here to help. Stand up for what is right.

"If you have the feeling that something is wrong, don't be afraid to speak up." -- Fred Korematsu

Japanese American detention is linked to today’s authoritarian warning signs. #FredKorematsuDay #CivilRights #Freedom
Fred Korematsu's fight against the cruelty of Japanese internment camps remains a constant reminder to stand up against injustice wherever it takes place.

On the 107th anniversary of his birth, California continues Korematsu's fight for civil rights and freedom.
