Leaves and Carvings He told himself he'd never find the sculptures, but that didn't stop him from fantasizing about being one of the few who ever got to experience them. And, even if he didn't, he still got to walk through the woods on a beautiful autumn day. He even counted it as a blessing that electronics wouldn't work in these woods. It let him really focus on the sounds of nature and the beautiful sights. The crisp wind and warm light turning each tree's reds, oranges, and yellows into its own dazzling inferno. Their falling leaves making it easy to miss the shimmering auburn hair of a woman ahead of him. Her hair in the late-afternoon sunlight and flawless, tanned skin made her seem like part of the woods, itself. It was difficult to even tell what she was wearing as the falling leaves danced around her. Impossible once one particularly large, supple leaf was blown into his face and covered his eyes. He felt the wind spiraling around him, heard a soft giggling, and momentarily lost his footing before he could remove his botanical blindfold. His eyes were met with warm, soft, twilight hues washing over a crowd of figures he was certain weren't there moments ago. As his eyes adjusted, he noticed there was no movement from any of them. Upon closer inspection, he saw a noticeable grain ran through the skin of their exposed bodies. The sculptures. He'd found them. They were even more lifelike than the stories had said. The posing was so dynamic, individual strands of hair were carved, and each carried an expression that mixed ecstasy and abject terror. He was tracing his finger over a wooden set of lips, trapped mid-moan, when he heard that giggling again. He turned and saw long fingers creeping around from behind a sculpture of a full-figured woman and grasping her chest. The fingers played with the carved nipple before squeezing the entire breast and used as a handhold for the woman to pull herself out from behind the sculpture. She stood in her Unable to look away, he couldn't pay attention to his surroundings as he disrobed, tripped over a tree root, and fell backwards. Completely naked, completely vulnerable, he looked up at her. Even with both hands on the ground, his body reached up to her. With a giggle and a crooking of her finger, he felt the tree roots shifting under him. They wrapped themselves around his wrists and pulled him up, until he was staring directly into her golden eyes. Attempting to step towards her only led to his ankles being bound just as tightly as the wrists held above his head. He tried to plead for his release, but she simply smiled, plucked a crimson leaf from a low-hanging branch, and stuck over his mouth. Like the blindfold before, it was supple and clung to him. Its fibers muffled his cries for escape. With a grin, she leaned in close and kissed him over the natural gag. Then, she brought herself closer, and slid him inside her. She was slick, but truly warm. The subtle chill on the breeze under an early October sun. Not that it deterred him. Quite the contrary, he couldn't remember a time he'd ever been more rigid. His entire body seemed to stiffen as she held him tight while she rode him. Her fingers explored his back, feeling every muscle as they tightened at her touch. She gripped tighter and thrusted harder, all while the wind moaned as it whipped about his ears. A screaming gust blasted past them as she forced him deep inside. She held him tight. She felt him tighten. The roots holding him in place slid away, but he stayed firmly in place. He felt her slide off but was unable to retreat. He could only watch as she released him, peeled the leaf off his face, and kissed wooden lips. Try as he might, he was unable to follow as she walked off into the gathering darkness, body vanishing, leaves crunching under her bare feet.
