How about flashing an Asus router with new firmware from FreshTomato or other?
If the router is flashed with FreshTomato or similar firmware, does that stop the exploit?

I got given one of their high end routers a couple years ago. It has been nothing but a massive pain in the ass. I think the NAND in it is going out now. I flashed it with FreshTomato almost immediately after getting it since the stock firmware is spyware trash.

I went to update it today and the flash failed, bricking it. I had to jump through crazy hoops to unbrick it. To do some required going back to the stock firmware. THAT is barely useable, but I got to flashed back to FreshTomato. But I don't trust it at all now.

Ever have that feeling your pizza might be smiling? I enjoyed my third visit to Bosco in Cheltenham. Might be the best pizza you can get in town. Higher-tier Neapolitan, and this Bufala pie had a freshtomato and garlic oil base, with some impressively stretchy mozzarella. I smiled, at least.

Comment mettre à jour un routeur Tomato / FreshTomato en injectant la configuration nvram sans tout refaire from scratch. Ceci pour éviter la corruption nvram.

Hier j'ai choppé un Netgear R7000 à 40 balles que j'ai flashé dans la foulée avec FreshTomato.
Résultat : ça fonctionne du feu de dieu 😍

Bon, les Linksys Velop c'est vraiment de la merde en barquette. Go remplacer ça par une solution à base de Pi4 + RaspAP et ensuite, ça part à la benne.
