Of course. I really think the only way we, as outsiders, can meaningfully make a difference for Palestine is by each of us assigning ourselves to a specific family that touches us. I tried to start a campaign for this through #FriendsOfPalestine but the traction wasn't there.

Israa is trying desperately to escape Gaza with her children, parents, and nieces and nephews, all trying to reach Canada, where Israa's brother Mohammad lives.
