#Fringe-Theories
While Texans pulled bodies from floodwaters, Marjorie Taylor Greene went online to blame... weather manipulation.

This isn't just heartless. It’s the latest sign that conspiracy theories aren’t fringe in today’s GOP—they’re the agenda.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Weather Conspiracy and The GOP’s Descent Into Delusion
As Texans drown, Greene pushes “weather manipulation” bills—proof that fringe theories now drive Republican politics.

Sorry fellas. Not fringe theories. False information and pseudoscience call it what it is.
In an interview, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the health and human services secretary, outlined a strategy for containing the measles outbreak in West Texas that strayed far from mainstream science, relying heavily on fringe theories about prevention and treatments.
Without Offering Proof, Kennedy Links Measles Outbreak to Poor Diet and Health
In a recent interview, the health secretary also suggested that the measles vaccine had harmed children in West Texas, center of an outbreak.

Let’s be absolutely clear. This decision, based on fringe conspiracy theories, will kill children.

Gavi works to expand access to vaccines for children in some of the world’s poorest countries. Health experts say the move could have deadly consequences.

“Citing fringe theories” man he’s just fucking lying about shit
Men like this will do everything they can - use every privilege - to avoid taking responsibility for their actions.

It doesn’t even matter that the dead 6-yr-old girl wasn’t malnourished or in poor health. A vaccine would have prevented her death, & he knows because he vaccinated his own children.

America only accepts white refugees now. Why? Because the Trump Regime's policy comes almost entirely from false conspiracy theories. In my first guest post at The Big Picture, I walk you through the 4chan-to-Trump pipeline. thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/4chan-trum...
The Pipeline from Fringe Conspiracy to Trump Policy
Official Trump policy is increasingly driven by once fringe right-wing conspiracy theories. How can we fight back?

I can think of another word for ‘fringe theories’

This is an important point.

Several conspiracy theories such as chemtrail conspiracies, 5G & WiFi conspiracies, and anti-Vaccine conspiracies, all have roots and origins within the left-wing fringe.

Recently. various flavors of these conspiracy theories have been absorbed by the right-wing fringe.
I'm old enough to remember when the vast majority of 9/11 Truthers were on the left.

I'm worried that too many people assume that just because conspiracism almost always pulls people far to the right that that means they always start there.

It's important to note Marjorie Taylor Greene is still a radical antisemite transphobe islamophobe and xenophobic racist tied to fringe conspiracy theories
She wanted to run for senate. Trump wouldn’t let her. She knows she has no path to higher office through MAGA. She’s been getting popular with the left cause you’re all a bunch of fucking suckers. And she taking advantage of the moment to make a noisy step and gain more attention.

Dissolving ACIP is an absolute mistake. We need accurate information—not fringe theories—guiding government recommendations on which vaccines to give which people.

JD Vance once said that Trump could be “America’s Hitler.”
JD Vance once said conspiracy theories were idiotic. As Trump's VP pick he is embracing them
JD Vance once dismissed conspiracy theories as the product of “fringe lunatics” but he's come to embrace them as his star rises in Republican politics.

To me, the drone panic puts America’s decline — and how social media companies are further fueling it — on full display.

How can a country rule the work when its people are increasingly illiterate and consumed by conspiracy theories?
In online drone panic, conspiracy thinking has gone mainstream
Authorities are urging calm. But with trust in media and other institutions at all-time lows, fringe theories are winning the day.

There was a time in the recent past when being a 9/11 truther would've been seen as disqualifying for a U.S. senator.

Ron Johnson appears to know that this time is apparently over, and he can expect to get away with peddling fringe 9/11 conspiracy theories. www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...

Ron Johnson was once described as the GOP’s “foremost amplifier of conspiracy theories and disinformation.” On 9/11, he's proving his critics right.
