The default is usually big bad toy store, since they usually do carry P-Bandai stuff, it just comes with a wait time. But if it you want it at release, and aren’t afraid of the hellscape that is the world of shipping, I use FromJapan to get a lot of these in at the time of release in Japan.

Thanks, Shoy :) I got mine for retail from Japan. You see quite a few pop up on Mercari Japan for reasonable prices, you just need a Japanese proxy service to buy for you like zenmarket, or fromjapan

window shopping on sites like fromjapan is dangerous cause you get excited that something you'd want costs only a 1/10 in japan but fees and shipping are like a month's rent.

i use tenso and fromjapan, for instance.
although for stuff like crane game/gacha/blindbox items (such as SQEX's stuff from taito), you might have better luck finding items on aftermarket such as mercari JP and yahoo auctions/jdirectitems, unless you have a friend living in japan.

your best bet for buying them would probably be getting a proxy service like zenmarket/buyee/fromjapan to place an order for you, then i think you'd have to use surface mail (by boat)

I had previously resigned myself to never being able to get this figure as it was rare and typically a bit too expensive for comfort here in the UK, but I found it for shockingly cheap when browsing FromJapan so I leapt on the opportunity to snag it, and I am very glad that I did as it's superb!

I had previously resigned myself to never being able to get this figure as it was rare and typically a bit too expensive for comfort here in the UK, but I found it for shockingly cheap when browsing FromJapan so I leapt on the opportunity to snag it, and I am very glad that I did as it's superb!

FromJapan package I mentioned before should be here tomorrow and it seems like it cleared customs without issue 🥳 Between customs worries, crazy high shipping cost, and de minimis removal it's really getting expensive and headache inducing to import anything these days

fromjapan: used to be my go-to but the increased 500 yen fee per item is p bad, esp since they were p unhelpful when i had a customs issue before they did reship a package w/o extra cost when shit first went down, and they allow more speaking to sellers. mixed feelings

I always safe up for a longer period of time but honestly its worth it for me, if you’re looking for subcul clothes that’ll last for a longer period of time I can def recommend acro! until then I’m always trying my luck on vinted or use proxys like FromJapan or Neokyo and Mercari Japan!~
