As much as I love a good modern FromSoft game, after having completed the original PS1 saga, I can safely say there is *nothing out there* like FromSoft in the 90s.

How unique is it that most fromsoft char designs are so memorable, yet have such unremarkable or covered faces. In fact, the ones that have their faces covered often have more striking features lol It makes sense, since the games are in third person. The outfits and voices are what really matters

This is why Legend is the best system that died too soon, because you can have a party where everyone has the Vigilante track and then you're just running a Kamen Rider Spirits vs Fromsoft campaign without the headache of running a game of Exalted.

Yeah... Otogi 2 jumped up in price when it was announced for backwards compat so it got the same fromsoft markup that all the Armored Cores have

This is me and FromSoft games. It's not even the difficulty, it's that the worlds are so unrelentlingly grim. Like, the best case scenario is often something like "you break the cycle of torment, but you do it by plunging the world into a dark age for a thousand years"

Laurence turned into a bit of a magma dragon by the end. I was hoping for a bit more context on his character but I imagine the ending of the base game will give me that. The chalice dungeons are the worst fromsoft content in any of their 3rd person action rpgs. Bottom of the barrel stuff.
