Love the End of the Road festival so much. See you next year. The accessible campsite here is a wonderful haven and makes life so much easier for me.

My arm. It’s got a rainbow sweatband and bands from the festival: my Frank Water refill band in red, the weekend festival band in blue, an orange pass to the accessible campsite (game changer) and a gold pass to the viewing platforms (I don’t use the platform, but access to the toilets at the stage is priceless for me).

That was parkrun #314 and volunteer credit #284 (I took some photos). I shouldn’t think I’ll make 500 runs (I now can’t actually get on my bike on my weaker side now and running is a slog of dragging my body around using mainly willpower), but I will get there with volunteer credits.

April fools day has an odd edge to it for me now, as it marks the day I was given my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.
Oh well, never mind. 7yrs (& counting) of kicking its ass 💪 I don’t suffer with MS, it has to suffer with me!

This condition occurs when the foot cannot be lifted properly, leading to dragging or catching while walking. Causes of Locked Ankle Nerve Disruption: In MS, the communication between the brain and the legs is disrupted, affecting muscle control. • Muscle Weakness: Weakness in the muscles that lift the foot (dorsiflexors) contributes to the inability to move the ankle freely. Spasticity: Increased muscle tone or spasms can lead to stiffness in the ankle, making movement difficult.
