I just noticed that doing this turns off a bunch of other things, including autocorrect, spelling suggestions, and desktop notifications.
You can turn all of THOSE off individually, but there's no way to turn off just the AI Summary. #FuckYouGoogle

1. Click the gear icon.
2. Click See All Settings.
3. Scroll down to Smart Features.
4. Uncheck the box and let it restart Gmail.
