As an white English person of Viking, Angle, Saxon, Norman, Dane, Celtic heritage, I'm fed up of people using the word 'English' as a proxy/racism wash, for white. Stop it. You are English if you are born in England or make your home here. Fullstop. Skin colour/lineage has nothing to do with it

It's really troubling that someone would decide to stop creating fullstop specifically because it was no longer lucrative for them. Pivoting to a different profession, absolutely, but dropping art completely??

Více než dvacet let hráli po klubech, vydávali vlastní nahrávky a získávali si publikum především na Vysočině. Teď se Fullstop rozhodli udělat důrazný krok dál. S novou zpěvačkou Janou Jirásko, českými texty a producentem Borisem Carloffem připravují album, se kterým chtějí překročit hranice regionální scény. První ukázkou je singl Tančím sám.
## Čeština je nemilosrdná
„Věříme, že jsme našli dobrou hranici mezi alternativou a popem a chceme se o něj podělit s co nejvíce posluchači. Novou desku bereme trochu jako nový začátek kapely,“ říká kytarista a zakládající člen Fullstop Jan Bárta.
Jednou z nejvýraznějších změn je podle něj přechod od angličtiny k češtině. Kapela s českými texty začala experimentovat už v závěru svého předchozího období, při restartu Fullstop ale bylo rozhodnuto.
Nová zpěvačka Jana Jirásko tak už přicházela do kapely, která chtěla další skladby zpívat výhradně česky. „Chceme, aby nám publikum lépe rozumělo. V angličtině se toho kolikrát hodně ztratí. Čeština je krásně nemilosrdná,“ vysvětlují hudebníci.
První ochutnávkou nové podoby Fullstop je Tančím sám. Sama ji označuje za „taneční věc pro všechny introverty“, pro ty, kteří tančí sami ve svých pokojích nebo v rozích koncertních sálů a jsou s tím úplně v pohodě, i když mohou na ostatní působit smutně nebo opuštěně.
Motiv domácího tance rozvíjí také videoklip režiséra Jáchyma Belchera, jehož scénář napsal společně s Pavlem Hoškem z Evil Friends. Hlavní roli ztvárnil herec Alfréd Šrámek.
