Absolutely. Our furbabies will understand if they see and they will comfort the dying person. I had my dog for 15 years and he passed with my family holding him in his own bed. We need to do that for all furparents.

It was about 20 years ago that I started seeing Caribbean dogs that had been captured and sold to US furparents and they did NOT adjust to crate and flexi-lead life. Not even the puppies. Why would they?

Our Tessie (dog) has been reluctant to go on her walks. Being concerned furparents, today we had a dog trainer come to try and help. Diagnosis, dear reader, she is lazy and doesn’t want to go on her walks, she wants to stay in bed 😂😂😂

He HAS been a bit orange lately, but he still figured out how to open the drawer his snacks are in... without thumbs. Luckily, I put them in plastic containers as well. When he can open those, the Cature will occur (Cat Rapture) and all good furparents shall ascend into a glorious world of purrs.
