My one and only Cubs game at Wrigley Field was in May of 1956 when a team I loved, the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the Cubs 6-0. Don Newcombe was pitching, Hodges, Snider, Pee Wee, Furillo. And, my dad was a Yankees fan. Yuk. And we were Midwesterners. 😁
