So in #FuryWIP the dynamic of Kore/Fury is like Scott Pilgrim (which i only know the basic plot of) & the 7 evil exes, but like if the 7 Exes were one hive-minded entity.

Kore herself isn't like Scott, but the VS dynamic remains. Violence, sexual tension, maybe some affection

I lied about not talking about my wips more today. I realized I missed yesterday's #WIPSnips and I have a good snippet from #FuryWIP where Kore begs the fury Megaira to enact punishment on her. Includes mention of violent punishment. The Furies normal mode.

On the inside I could swear I felt my ribs crack and my breathing grew ragged. I didn’t need to breathe, but a pained breath only panicked me. “Give me my punishment.” In the space of a pained breath, she’d moved further away. I stride toward her as fast as I can without running. When I reach for her hand, I miss and grab the edge of her shirt. It’s more substantial than the shadows I wear. Now that I’ve caught up to her, I thrust my hand into her face again. I pry her soft lips open with my fingers. Her sharp teeth scratch my skin as I shove my fingers through the small gap that her surprise leaves me. “My punishment. Take them.” That is what she’d threatened, after all. To take off my fingers. Her teeth were sharp enough to do the work. Yet her teeth didn’t bite down on the fingers in her mouth. Her jaw was tense but unmoving. “I was wrong and the punishment agreed. Do it.” Hot tears trail down my cheeks. They feel scorching as I try to press up on her lower jaw to ensure her bite but the tension in her jaw is too much for even me to move.

The Erinyes/Furies are humanoid but they're parts of Fury. Fury's an entity that can split & the Erinyes are the parts "in charge". They can share thoughts/feelings but retain their own individuality. Their bites are venomous & painful until they experience ecstasy. Wings, tails, claws.

Currently writing a new "birth of persephone" mythos for my Kore/The Erinyes (Furies) #FuryWIP story to help tie in some themes,symbols,etc. All kinds of mythological nonsense.

I just like to make the gods even messier and complicated than they already are 😂 while also trying to show appreciation

the best thing about writing gnc/gender weird magic/monster characters is when they got a tail & use it as a strap/packer. For that good good gender euphoria.

Dark because of the romance/smut mentioned (a consensual but rough scene between The Furies & Kore) and because Fury (specifically, Fury Megaira) is threatening to bite off Kore's fingers. Also because, the Underworld ✨

I wonder if she’s imagining last night too, how Fury had choked me while she throat-fucked me to make my throat tighter for her sake. “Guess my name now, godling. If you’re right, I’ll let you keep those fingers. And during our next session, I’ll even let you fuck yourself on them.” She didn’t tell me what the consequence would be for being wrong. I’m not truly sure if she’d try to remove my fingers or not.

One of my favorite things about #FuryWIP is using it as an excuse to find the most obscure myth stories for things and trying to make different equally-well-known versions mesh when they're conflicting.
