Understanding what people actually want from their places - the deeper values, the things that matter beyond getting from A to B, is how you build the cultural conditions for that shift. Traffic reduction is the mechanism. Thriving streets are the goal.

Oxfordshire doesn't yet have a shared vision of what thriving streets & neighbourhoods look like. Not from a local gov perspective, nor from a civil society level either.
🗺️ #FutureStreets is how we start to build that. From the bottom up, in a way that top-down planning can't replicate.
