Veluun was not born blind. He chose it. In the early age of expansion, when civilizations mapped every surface and simulated every possibility, one final frontier remained: perception itself. Veluun was among the first Perceivers, architects trained to design spaces not by sight but by absence. Where others built with geometry, he built with inference. Where others relied on light, he listened for resistance, tension, and the subtle refusal of matter to be fully understood. The blindfold is not a limitation but a filter. It blocks the tyranny of visible truth. Veluun stands within his own construct, a living lattice of recursive rings and connective filaments known as a Nullframe. These structures are not static. They respond to presence, memory, and unresolved intent. What appears behind him is only a partial expression. The rest exists in layers the eye cannot resolve, shifting just beyond perception. He does not see the structure. He feels where it should not be. Those who enter a space designed by Veluun report the same sensation: a pressure at the edges of thought, as if the environment is aware of them before they are aware of it. Hallways seem shorter or longer than they should be. Open rooms feel narrow. Corners linger. Something is always almost visible, never quite forming. This is his craft. Veluun does not create places. He creates conditions for awareness to fracture, for certainty to dissolve, for presence to become questionable. His designs are used where traditional architecture fails: containment zones, memory vaults, and places meant to hold things that resist definition. It is said that if Veluun ever removed the blindfold, even for a moment, the structures he maintains would collapse. Not physically, but conceptually. They would become ordinary, and in that instant, whatever they were designed to contain would no longer be contained. So he does not remove it.
