I mean 'slagging off the leader to the BBC when you don't have strong internal popularity' a la 2015/16. And the issue just doesn't really map on in the same way. The issue isn't Zack per se, the motion and G4P are independent from him

G4P are much more diverse and nuanced in their opinions than even casual GPEW members generally realise. Some I agree with, others not so much.

In the 1st instance the statement and the one state solution should not be 'beyond the pale' red lines - they are legitimate positions regardless where we stand. Beyond, knowing individual positions and where unwilling to engage certainly helps. Is this true of all G4P?

I'm less sure of that - I think there's too much time talking and not enough doing but I think it is focusing on a much longer term than something like G4P. It needs something to unite behind and push hard next conference to get people excited but there's a ton of political education projects

Basically: I hear from both sides, G4P and the opponents of ZiR, that the other refused to engage. That makes it difficult to tell who is being uncooperative. And there are people on both sides who came to it with trauma.

Look, I don’t think this failure is purely on him. Many Green politicians failed (like lol at Caroline Lucas after saying nothing suddenly criticising). But maybe Polanski should have said that more prominently before!
