#GADems
he has transferred GADems a few million

and here i must remind you that they outvoted the GOP by 8% despite the primary seeing similarly-stark spending differences
September 26, 2026 at 12:19 PM
Like deadass in 22, she raised over 100 million dollars- GADems are fucking idiots 😵‍💫
September 25, 2026 at 6:56 PM
But she did and lost and GADems stupidly declared her and everyone else in 2022 who ran or were Abrams Dems as persona non grata so the bench was depleted clearing the way for KLB

But yeah Abrams runs in line w/ GB, probably overperforms bc unlike KLB she could raise money & show Rick’s weakness
September 25, 2026 at 6:55 PM
Also Ossoff is not running and furthermore has dragged his heels giving money to GADems which could close this gap so he’s not being screwed by anyone here lol

So lock in so GADems can flip the Gov/House and make the Senate close

Also Carter wasn’t beating Bottoms either
September 17, 2026 at 1:07 PM
GA tried to use this against her in 2018 (bc GADems lose GA Senate seat, governor, State Senate, and barely held the House in 2002 ceding the state to Republicans in a realignment precipitated by changing the flag) and she was like “I refuse to apologize; it honored the Confederacy”
September 8, 2026 at 10:55 PM
Yeah and those were just the ones I screenshotted bc they were well-known; he had several more from across the ATL metro (GADems base)

He’s been a rising star for some time, the reason he lost the primary is bc Clark was more well-known as a state rep and well-liked (he only was on school board)
August 26, 2026 at 1:17 AM
Non zero GADems flip the house
August 25, 2026 at 12:16 AM
Cool, maybe it’s bc I vote fairly regularly and volunteered a lot w/ GADems
August 17, 2026 at 4:39 PM
Yeah I don’t blame you at all bc I know ppl don’t listen to the podcast lol and wanted to provide information on her current views

Tbf I doubt she’s running again sadly (at least in the near term). GADems publicly begged her not to run for governor stupidly and got KLB who everyone hates even more
August 14, 2026 at 10:31 PM
So again it’s likely not much GADems can do but on issues where this is some bipartisan agreement on *our* priorities, we can tip the scales to favor us (education funding and depending on the final margins, healthcare/tax reform)
July 28, 2026 at 2:33 PM
-not just at the CD level but below, South Carolina wanting to be first makes more sense* (GA can’t bc GADems don’t have the governorship)

Which explains why DNC bookend the early states w/ SC & VA to boost Southern Black Dems
July 24, 2026 at 8:56 PM
In theory yes (such that it’s malpractice if she loses and he runs anyway) however GADems have gotten consecutive D+7 polls in the generic ballot

However Ossoff is not a sure thing to run at all imo, tbb Ossoff 2028 is a media/online thing; he hasn’t made the necessary moves

Sorry I’m too lazy to retype this but i agree. The takeaway is that Dems outvoted GAGOP by 9-10 points….this is bad for Republicans full stop

We see downballot lag all the time esp for nonpartisan races and honestly this is the 1st time GADems seriously contested these races
May 20, 2026 at 1:41 AM
So in a diversifying state, you get a liberalizing state which is why GA has continued to shift left even post-2020 and GADems have won statewide since then

So when you get a midterm where Dems are motivated and GOP is not (+existing turnout dynamics)…you get GADems outvoting GAGOP by 8-10 pts
May 20, 2026 at 1:35 AM
Ironically this is what Stacey has always said but GADems post-2022 idiotically asked Abrams not to be involved anymore and it’s been a dumpster fire since

Yet the lessons ppl will take from this will be nothing
May 20, 2026 at 1:04 AM
We have 1 probable seat so we would four more (hopefully 2 after tonight)

This is bc GADems decided not to actually contest these races for years despite it being our only chance to overturn gerrymanders and other stupid things passed by GAGOP🫠🫠🫠
May 19, 2026 at 9:58 PM
Dems are turning out in droves anyway, and turnout dynamics nearly completely eliminating candidate quality is not something you see in other close swing states

So GADems will capitalize but not through their brilliant strategy* but the environment will carry the day

*save the GASC races
May 19, 2026 at 11:16 AM
Basically GA is a swing state that is uniquely inelastic driven by turnout -> it can be hard to prognosticate what Dems performance here means nationally

Like KLB is likely winning the GADems Gov nom despite deeply unpopularity in the party bc she is seen as weak but it doesn’t matter bc
May 19, 2026 at 11:16 AM
due to turnout differential and if that will create downballot effect for Wooten

If so, this could be a gamechanger for GADems bc the only we are getting fair maps and overturning dangerous laws like the heartbeat bill and our worse version of Prop 13 is by flipping the GA Supreme Court
May 18, 2026 at 7:26 PM
Yes but as Citytrees mentioned, GADems & the national party took out all the stops to show Rankin & Jordan are Dems (w/ Obama & Kamala being brought in) so I am fascinated if the high engagement environment of the midterms and high-propensity Dem voters means that this effort will create a blowout
