I got my first flu shot since I was diagnosed with CIDP in 2004! The new Moderna mRNA vaccine should not cause the reaction that my doctors were worried about if I had gotten the traditional vaccine. As we know, mRNA technology was used to develop COVID vaccines.

Interesting! I've always been diagnosed with CIDP, an immune mediated idiopathic, but it was almost certainly started by H1N1 (it took months for me to get over and my CIDP symptoms began shortly after and CIDP/GBS is "common" with flu)
