Hello, I would ask you, what I need to do to acceptable use actually not existing license in ContentDB for my future planned mods. I would like to create in a future own license and share mods under this own license (if will not be license with same or very similar properties). My license, with actual workname "GCCL - GREAT CITY COMPLEX LICENSE", will has properties bellow (it is shorted, not completed). 1) Made for both code and media 2) Inspired by actually existing licenses: 2.1) disclaimer of liability 2.2) modifiable with respect the restrictions 2.3) author's rights aren't disclaimable and similar... as GCCL Open 3) in variant used by me - GCCL NCA (No content for adults) - also: 3.1) no content for adults (pornography, erotica, politics campaigns, hard brutality..., drugs, criminality...) 3.2) not sharable with content for adults 3.3) not usable for content for adults 3.4) not usable for religion, sect and similar content 3.5) not usable for creating paid software or other paid works BUT acceptable use in videos on YouTube, Herohero, Patreon... I read that CDB doesn't accept own licenses... what I would to do for my license could be acceptable by ContentDB? It needn't to be tomorrow, I have much of time before I will use it. This was a spice of the hill of personal territorium. Thank you for your work to stop it - no I know that my signing the territorium is thebiggest problem of my behavior too in real life and too with friends. After long thinking, I think that GCCL NCA couldn't be used and in principe isn't for open-source community good (first mention - open source license guaranteeing safety for childern when they it use - is good but real practical freedom of creators is unstopable, and software/mods/arts contain it won't to be usable). We know that licenses MIT, CC-BY(-more) are relatively old and not contain important definition for changes from last years. This is one of points why I planned before I had first plan to create new license. Analyze: 1) Made for both code and media -- I think that one of problems of existing licenses is that doesn't exist much used license made **both for code and media** 2) Inspired by actually existing licenses: 2.1) disclaimer of liability 2.2) modifiable with respect the restrictions 2.3) author's rights aren't disclaimable and similar... as GCCL Open -- I think that these points are fully acceptable by everyone 3) in variant used by me - GCCL NCA (No content for adults) - also: 3.1) no content for adults (pornography, erotica, politics campaigns, hard brutality..., drugs, criminality...) -- This is against half of FSF article 0 and against OSI article 6... some of restrictions are so much restrictive... but I think that in larger mods is ok when I restrict first three said (pornography, erotica and politic campaigns) 3.2) not sharable with content for adults -- to prevent use name of author of origin code/media in 18+ content 3.3) not usable for content for adults -- so much restrictive 3.4) not usable for religion, sect and similar content -- better definition should contain "not usable for advertising or propagation of religion and sect organisations" 3.5) not usable for creating paid software or other paid works BUT acceptable use in videos on YouTube, Herohero, Patreon... -- This I have written because CC-BY-NC was for me more restrictive that I want.
