The remedy for that was not to close #MainchanceDropInCenter entirely, but to end the #GCNSSN contract and to award it to another nonprofit that would respect it and treat clients right. But I guess that's not how #NYCDHS rolls.

It had a good location, reasonably close to the #GrandCentralTerminal. The stacked plastic garden chairs were OK. But the #GrandCentralNeighborhood #GCNSSN that ran it had the worst staff and management, who denied access even to clients brought by outreach workers.
