There is a bias among pundits to eye-roll and dismiss Dem opposition to Trump (such as the No Kings protests) as predictable. But in terms of raw numbers (both events and participants), what we're seeing is much bigger than e.g. the Tea Party movement was. Dems are a high entropy system right now

I think he and the Lincoln Project group are looking to create another version of the GOP. They want to take left-leaning White Dems/Indys along with the right leaning WP and create a center right party. The goal is always white nationalism, no matter how much they pretend they hate Trump.

MAGAts have taken over the Wyo lege. And they want to stop the well worn and time honored tradition of Wyo Dems and indys re-registering at the polls on primary day to vote in the GOP primary (Wyo has closed primaries) and switching back the next day.

His favorables are pretty bad, low enthusiasm for the GOP, high enthusiasm for Dems/Indys, and the population increase in SC, makes it mathematically possible. I don't think it will happen, but it's not impossible. Somewhere around 15-25% in my mind

What you know Oklahoma is doing dirty special election bs with these horrible state questions on a ballot that is mostly repub runoff elections. So few Dems or indys will actually go to the polls. Both questions are ones GOP voters love b/c they’re dumb and don’t understand what they’re voting for.

What is crazy is that for the second question, about 4% of Dems and Indys were more likely to see ICE as not a political tool compared to opposing ICE (sad face). But more Republicans saw ICE as a political tool than opposed ICE. It is like some in the GOP know it is Trump's retaliation and approve.

Dems won't vote for him. Indys may be a few, but he will definitely split the republican party votes, thomas massie type voters will vote for him. Even if he gets 15% to 20% of gop votes the republicans lose

It was 50 to 28 for indys - that's 2 to 1! - and even lower for Dems
GOP was the opposite of course but I'm just not counting Republicans as Americans anymore lol (more seriously, I find it's more helpful to look at "Dem and Indy" for public sentiment because GOP is *so* far out)
