GPTzero does better but still, I mostly see screenshots from the above

Some fun things are happening in this thread. One user points out Jimbo's message may be AI generated according to a commonly used AI detector. Jimbo denies the claim.

As just one example: GPTZero, one of the most popular detection services, is owned by Superhuman AI (text generation), who also owns Humanize AI (detection avoidance).

has anyone just run the thing through gptzero

GPTZero says the blurb on the website is 100% AI written as well. It also says Truss's statement is written by a human.

GPTZero believes this is 100% AI generated, which makes it even more pathetic.

They’re using AI to generate insurrection fan fic.

The results come from the company GPTZero, which claims they “uncovered hundreds of AI-hallucinated citations that slipped past the three or more reviewers assigned to each submission, spanning at least 53 papers in total.”

Y'see it's important to constantly use AI, so you can develop a keen sense of when other people are using AI.

Self-billed as ‘the leading AI detector’, GPTZero claims to determine whether a piece of writing was written by a human or LLM.

But GPTZero is pretty much useless for AI detection, and furthermore, its outputs might even be considered harmful.

If you’ve spent any time at all looking into AI detection then you’ve probably encountered GPTZero.

In what is amusing, this startup called GPTZero (aiming to detect LLM-generated content) reached out along the lines of "we scanned your articles and found no evidence of AI generated content."

I replied: "Yes... duh?"

Surprised paying newsletters would do it.
