weirdly, galfrey was remarkably chill about my trickster habits. she let us down much more gently about sending us to the abyss than she was for my azata, who she basically accused of being a demon worshipper.

The only CRPG romance I can think of that doesn't have this dynamic is the Galfrey romance in Wrath of the Righteous ... and you're (kinda) dating your CO there.

In fairness, Wenduag and Arushulae ate humans, not mongrels/succubi, so I don’t think they qualify as cannibals. And I haven’t played every path, but I don’t think Galfrey eats anybody?

She ( Queen Galfrey) took the kids (my armies i spent 1029292 hours crafting) in the divorce (stripping pc of the commander title and putting them in the abyss where 6 momth passed despite us being there for like a couple weeks)

I genuinely didn't like some azata's commander decisions ESPECIALLY CHILD CRUSADE so I was like 'fuck it we ball' and for funzies and me being a huge lover for evil and drama got a sloppy one with mephistophel and then broke and banged galfrey (reworked devil path is so good thanks Owlcat)

I genuinely didn't like some azata's commander decisions ESPECIALLY CHILD CRUSADE so I was like 'fuck it we ball' and for funzies and me being a huge lover for evil and drama got a sloppy one with mephistophel and then broke and banged galfrey (reworked devil path is so good thanks Owlcat)
Man while reading through the Adventure path it still gets me that Galfrey tried to use the "just as bad as the demons" argument for not executing Staunton. It's just so easy to lean on that condition, and then do nothing to prevent a repeat offense everything to guarantee one.

I think there’s a lot of anger and cruelty in Galfrey that should be allowed to flourish. I think she’s wasted as a character in game and makes for a great potential heel-turn antagonist.

Galfrey corrupted not in a “I’m queen and I can do what I want” way but “The injustice of my prolonged life not leading to the abortion of this war and my personal happiness means I will repay the church in the manner they have earned.”

And that's exactly what makes the fact that he's been able to get away with being so awful for so long compelling.
Part of it's that he's both obscenely wealthy and well-connected enough to do effectively whatever he wants (until Queen Galfrey drags him to the Mendevian Crusades by the hair)...
