I personally love when i hit the button on my controller to bring up Steam's overlay and it gets captured by Xbox gamebar and both get overlayed at once and the gamebar is telling me about its cool AI features. FUCK OUTTA HERE I DID NOT INVOKE YOU SOFTWARE DEMON

If you're using Windows 11, Microsoft is now surveilling you in a new way. This may already be turned on on your computer, and you would not be notified; it activates whenever they detect you are in a "game", which in my experience Microsoft often false-positives on

Reinstalling the very uninstalled copilot with every update and hiding it in more and more places (like the gamebar I had also uninstalled repeatedly) made me hate "AI" to the point of ditching windows.

THERE. Fixed every single one of my crashing games to work again since the windows update. Also permanently got rid of that annoying ms gamebar error popup that I've been putting up with for over a year. Alsooo fixed that shadow gens error that stopped me playing sonic side gens. A small victory 🙃

one of my tv pcs died so I moved the other one to my primary tv and found out that whatever "gamebar" is in Windows has been taking screenshots and recording footage seemingly at random? Now I've got thousands of 20 meg shots of me in the Saints Row game that everyone but me hated.
