The Lego light kits from LightMyBricks sure are on a completely different quality level than those from GameOfBricks. But at triple the price I’m very much reluctant to get the big kits from them. 🫤

Lord Of The Rings - The Shire.

Build time 1 Xmas day, including a good number of hours fiddling the #GameOfBricks light kit in as I was building, takes more time but looks cleaner.

Done. It is definitely an improvement of the set, as the light kits usually are. But #GameOfBricks really need to do some more R&D and consider an upgraded version in the future.

Love my light kits. So far I’ve always bought from GameOfBricks as I found their kits to be good value for money and they don’t run hot, I have them on for long periods. But for this set I’d not recommend at this time, maybe look at (expensive) LightMyBricks or wait for a revised version.

Hot glue and it’s accompanying gun are as much of a life saver as duct-tape and tie-wraps. But it shouldn’t really be needed for a Lego light kit. 🤨 It is rescuing this Enterprise mission though. I hope GameOfBricks does some more R&D for an updated version of their kit. (Yes, I will tell them.)

I used a GameOfBricks light kit for this set. I am currently looking in on getting one for my Barad-dur set after how well this set did for me.

This build was not the type of builds that I like. Not at all. But, I wanted to have the result, so it had to be done. The light kit was even more hassle, but I got it done also.
