I studied the Brihadishvara Temple there, and other Chola dynasty temples that followed Rajaraja I, Gangaikondacholapuram, Darasuram, and Airavateshwara temples built by Rajaraja’s descendants. Wish I was back there sometimes. Field study of South Indian temples was my lifelong passion.

I studied the Brihadishvara Temple there, and other Chola dynasty temples that followed Rajaraja I, Gangaikondacholapuram, Darasuram, and Airavateshwara temples built by Rajaraja’s descendants. Wish I was back there sometimes. Field study of South Indian temples was my lifelong passion.
