Moved some of my miscellaneous succulents into the front strip garden.

Not sure what they are as I got them a year ir two ago as little propagated cuttings. The one on the left has large round pink fruits when it flowers.

I've decided that I'm going to name all of my grass trees.

This one is called "Namatjira" after one of my favourite painters (Albert Namatjira).

I'm considering pulling up this area of grass and planting a range of bulbs and seeds and just seeing what grows 🤔

My daughter and I dug up this patch of stones to see if it was covering soil or concrete.
Thankfully, it's soil!

We're going to remove the white gravel and turn this section into my daughter's own flower/fairy garden.

The kids helped me pot some of my succulents into these triangular pots. The pots are actually supposed to stack on top of each other but we decided to use them like individual pots.

Purchased my first grass tree yesterday!

I've always wanted to own my own home so I could have several grass trees in the garden.

This one I'm going to keep in a pot, though.

I hadn't planned on keeping any of the irises, but then they flowered and I changed my mind.

Such a pretty flower!

My Felt Bush (Kalanchoe beharensis) had a rough time in the move but I'm hopeful that it will pull through and start to thrive again.

Some flowers, I think Gerberas?, have appeared in the main front garden.

I was initially going to pull up these plants but they're rather pretty so I think I'll leave them be.

Transplanted some of the irises from the back garden to the front strip garden.

I managed to tidy this part of the garden up a bit more. My health has been up and down lately so I'm taking all the wins, no matter how small.

Little One's garden is all planted now!

She's been enjoying watering them with her little watering can (it's shaped like a bunny).

Managed a few moments to myself and was able to get another of my pot plants into the front garden.

This is an Elephant Bush (Portulacaria afra), I believe.

I'm slowly filling the front strip garden with plants from my pots or plants moved from the back garden.

It's low on native plants though, so I'm planning to plant a coupke kangaroo paws to combat that.

We also removed all the plants (except for the magnolias and olive tree) from the backyard strip garden.

We need to add some soil and then I'm going to plant a mix of native grasses.

I've not made as much progress on our gardens as I wanted to by now.

To remedy this, my partner & I have started doing "night gardening" to try and catch up.

I removed a green waste bin full of plants this evening.

I placed them back in the soil. I like beetles, especially scarab beetles. Plus, I intend to replace the lawn grass with native ground cover anyway.

I posted the Junipers in local Facebook groups and a couple of gentlemen came by this morning & uprooted them. They've also just bought a house but it has no landscaping or gardens yet.

Junipers are apparently difficult to re-plant so I hope they work out for them.
