Because the people in charge get a lot of money from gas- and oillobbyists onto their offshore bankaccounts for not doing anything against oil- and gasconsumption. And people who vote for these corrupt politicans do this, because of many promises, which never will be performed.

The Federal Government has released a new report that includes projections of how much gas Australia is set to use over the coming decades.

There is no ambiguity in its message: Australia reached peak gas years ago, and it’s all downhill from here.

⚠️ #Greece was in the 5th worst place between the #EU-27 Member States, recording a 7.2% increase in #gasconsumption between 2025-2024 for the period January to September.

Consistently in last places are Austria and Poland, while Finland and Sweden are leading.

📌 #Greece had more than double the #EU-27 average increase in #gasconsumption in the first 8 months of 2025 (7.7% for Greece, 3.8% for EU-27).
16 Member States increased consumption while 9 decreased it, with Sweden and Estonia leading the way (-17.1% and -14.3% resp.).
