Turns out that listening to the Szeth v Gavilar fight at 2.5x speed is what I needed to finally be able to picture a Brandon Sanderson fight scene. I feel like I’m in the fight with them. Maybe what I needed was the white knuckle dramatisation brought about by this much speed.
