The Geminass 01 is a really neat kit! I only have a couple minor issues with it: the shield mount and the rear skirt armor are both pretty loose out of box and fall off when bumped. The elbows are also double c clip, so I’m not really sure how long they’ll last. Everything else is great! #gunpla

Also Pbandai order is here! Recently found out the Leo-R didn’t have a monochrome box, but I guess the Geminass 01 doesn’t either. Is the whole GUnit line like this?

Either tonight after work or tomorrow morning I’m going to start on the Geminass 01. GUnit is related to Wing so I figure that counts. I don’t know anything about the series, I should probably read it. also I got it from P-Bandai but like the Leo R it’s not a monochrome box #gundam #gunpla

Eh. This kit has a very detailed sculpt and it's nice we got it at all, but a lot of this kit feels kinda half-assed. Feels cheap with weak joints, and articulation is super underwhelmingbeing modern. Tbh, it's an easy skip

Kit is fully assembled now, it’s not very complicated to build but the level of surface detail is excellent. I’ll go into more detail tonight when I pose it but I really like this kit and it only has a couple minor issues I think. I just wish it was a regular retail kit

Decided to build the backpack next, not really sure why. It’s very interesting, the thrusters have a good range of movement but I think they could be a little tighter. The beam sabers are held in by a tiny peg on the side so they can actually swing forward which is a cool touch!

Pretty interesting that the rifle fits perfectly in the regular holding hand and the trigger finger hand. I also painted some more details on it because I like that energy canister thing to be painted too

Day 2 of the Geminass 01 build! Started with the head and the cameras are nicely recessed so painting them was pretty easy! The eyes are gold which is nice too! I feel like crap so my hand was a bit shaky so they didn’t come out perfect but they’re good enough!

Starting the Geminass 01! The torso is really interesting, there’s a left to right pivot on top of the gray part and the front of the red part has the actual ab crunch but it comes together very nicely! The metallic green is painted on instead of using the sticker the kit comes with #gundam #gunpla

Visually this kit is excellent, tons of surface detail to look at and panel line, and I don’t even think there’s many seam lines so it’s pretty impressive for an HG! It has good articulation, though I don’t want to bend the elbows too far because of the c clips but they do bend enough
