Indeed, genderswapping is nothing new - I am aware of all internet traditions. But incels and chuds declaring their special wank fodder genderswap to be *important* and proof of their impending cultural ascendency (even as they remain gender reactionaries in other circumstances) is new and cringe.

In the same way there's a lot of 'weird' genderswapping magic in old D&D modules, it wasn't put there by the likes of Gary Gygax because he had weird feelings about gender. He thought it was a mean prank second only to killing someone's character off instantaneously.
